Through Naturism, the Southeast Michigan Naturists is an organization of clothing-optional enthusiasts.

Our Vision: To achieve a spirit of community, acceptance, and happiness in life through naturism.

Our Goals:

• To provide to and for the community we live in, exposure to the naturist lifestyle through education;
•  Support for activities whose goals are to leverage cultural values to include naturist norms;
• A relaxed social atmosphere to enable community interaction amongst naturists and all event participants;
• Events to allow the fullest participation of all people, regardless of age and economic status to live their naturist philosophy.

Winter Swim Gathering

    "Monthly during the fall, winter, and early spring, we rent the entirety of a public recreation building just minutes from Ann Arbor. The facility provides us with a huge swimming pool, a large kids' or conversation pool, and a gigantic hot tub. Plus we have available a gym for naked volleyball and basketball and access to all the workout equipment. At each swim we enjoy a potluck in a room adjacent to the pools. Many nights we offer workshops in massage or other events.

    Member fee for attending the swims and any related events is a ridiculously low $10 per night, plus members are encouraged to invite family and friends as a way for you to introduce them to the joys of naturism at a fee of only $5 for their first visit and $15 for subsequent visits (until they too become members)! The swim events alone are a great reason for you to join Southeast Michigan Naturists. Add to that the many other opportunities provided by SMN to connect with fellow naturists and membership is a must for any clothing-optional enthusiast living in or near to Southeast Michigan. " Add to the calendars of events something like "monthly swim dates fall and winter -- dates not yet set for 2008-2009 season."

Southeast Michigan Naturists (SMN) was founded on October 15, 1995. Our activities include group trips to nudist resorts, canoe trips, house parties, pool parties, volleyball, BBQ's, and hot tubbing.
